I am selling my lovely cosy narrowboat (official name Onion Bargee) but currently has no name on exterior.
Blacked and serviced in May 2016 (by the well known Marine Engineer Darren at Cowroast), she is very neat and clean and well looked after.
One very comfortable fixed double bed and an equally comfortable sofabed, bought new in September 16 (Grey).
It has a double wardrobe with long hanging and lots of storage in steps and under the bed. The cooker has a full sized oven and grill, with storage underneath.
The fridge is a 3 way with a small freezer box.
The pram cover is good quality and was added in September 16 and adds a lot more storage on the stern deck.
The bow has a cratch cover which also gives a lot of extra storage.
It is a very light and airy boat, painted using Annie Sloane paint and currently done in a retro style.
The curtains are 60's style and not to everyone's taste and easily changed to make the decor a bit less girly!
It has central heating run by diesel, and all electrics were redone last year so there are plenty of sockets in all the right places. It has a cassette toilet with two cassettes. Built in 2002. BSS to September 18. I can't find any information on size of either tank, sorry. If any use it takes about 45/60 minutes to fill water tank. I think I remember filling her up with diesel at about 50 gallons? There are two battery packs.
I have lived full time on this boat which has worked very well for me.
However my son has come to live with me due to illness and we need to go back on land.
She would ideally suit a couple or one person as a live aboard/houseboat, or a holiday boat.
Please let me know if you need any more information and thanks for looking.
